Our weekday, interactive cooking evenings start at 6:30pm and finish around 9:30pm/10pm. Saturday morning courses are usually from 9.30 or 10.30 for 3 and a half hours.

Interactive Cooking Experiences

Join us for our signature interactive courses. See samples of our menus on our Menus Page where we teach between 6-8 different dishes with sauces, dressings and accompaniments. We always cook with wine, sometimes, we even put it in the food.

Adult Master Chef Parties

A fun interactive experience for up to 20-40 guests.
Great for corporate team building or special birthdays.

Guest Chef For The Evening

A very special evening with a guest chef.

Private Dinner/Lunch Parties

More for the fun, than the learning, which can be served in the dining room or outside on the terrace weather dependant. Catering to your specific tastes.

Corporate Lunches and Workshops

Corporate events work very well here at Ginger and Lime as guests make use of the dining room to host meetings after which a fully catered 3 course lunch is served on the terrace

Gourmet Braai Evenings

For foreign guests wanting a truly South African experience, and for local ones wanting to widen their knowledge. A really fun, relaxed course that teaches you different methods, ways of marinating, sauces and side dishes.

Interactive Dining Evening

A wonderful evening participating, learning and enjoying the comfort that cooking brings. Each week a different style of menu is created which incorporates different flavours, cooking methods and cuisine

End of Year Functions

For groups of around 10 – 60 people, Ginger and Lime’s multiple spaces allow for a relaxed yet sophisticated end of year function. Each event can be tailored to suit your preferences

Bachelorette Parties

Great to do something different. Have fun in the kitchen and celebrate

Kitchen Tea/High Tea

Can be fully catered or partly interactive. Have full use of the dining room, lounge, terrace and kitchen.

Cocktail Evenings

Delicious, gourmet homemade canapes served while you mingle and socialise with friends and family

Kids Parties (Master Chef and Cupcake)

Cupcakes, brownies, smoothies Courses etc. for teens on Saturday Morning as well as a basic School-leavers essential Crash course in cooking.
Minimum age 10, and max 12 kids.
